This masterclass by QUT enables innovation, enhanced decision making and competitive advantage through AI and strategies for best practice in managing AI transition. The masterclass incorporates a blend of interactive discussion, real world case studies, expert insights and practical application of emerging frameworks and tools in this rapidly evolving landscape that will transform business and society.

This masterclass is the first component, designed to develop the competencies needed to successfully enable innovation, decision making and competitive advantage through AI.

*Successful application into the MBA is require for advanced standing. Advanced standing is only valid for 5 years.

The masterclass is designed for C-Suite leaders, Executive leader roles and for anyone with atleast 5-years business experience.

Professor Marek Kowalkiewicz
Marek is an academic and industry leader with extensive experience in conducting research, co-innovating with industry and university partners, and delivering innovative products to the market. Currently, as founding director of Centre for the Digital Economy, he leads QUT’s research agenda to inform and influence a robust digital economy in Australia.

Catherine Batch
Dr Catherine Batch is a Senior Lecturer in the Graduate School of Business. Before joining QUT Catherine gained experience working in London, Dublin, Sydney and Brisbane in senior management and consulting roles in banking and technology. She productised her Masters project into a media training app and recently divested a payments business she developed for small business. She currently teaches across Master of Business Administration, Public Sector Management Program and corporate programs. Her PhD research was on the role trust plays in AI-generated content for ASX200 companies. Catherine is a Specialist Service Officer in the Australian Army where she provides public affairs support to military operations, exercises and activities within Australia and overseas. She is also a member of the JY Australia Advisory Board, an Indigenous owned and veteran-run company that provides solutions and services to Government, Defence and Industry.
