Welcome to the IMPACT10X AI Simulator Internship, an enriching two-month program designed to empower students and local innovators as they embark on their innovation journey.

Rooted in the IMPACT10X methodology, this immersive experience is ideal for those with a passion project or career aspirations linked to research and innovation. This program is designed to supercharge your personal and professional growth through a dynamic and interactive approach.

The IMPACT10X AI Simulator operates on the principle of action-orientated learning, allowing participants to roll up their sleeves and actively engage in the innovation process. Over the course of two months, you’ll team up with fellow participants to navigate a ten-sector innovation value chain, fostering skills in team dynamics, lateral thinking, design thinking, prototyping and venture development.

But that’s not all! In addition to the innovation track, we offer robust professional development path. This includes invaluable support for your career growth, including CV and LinkedIn reviews, updates and constructive feedback. You’ll also have the opportunity to hone your interview skills in mock interview sessions. For those aspiring to excel in the boardroom, we provide training for board meetings to equip you with the essential skills for a sucessful career.

Your personal brand is equally important. In the IMPACT10X AI Simulator, you’ll develop a personalised strategy based on your own persona and lifestyle story. This approach will prepare you for future opportunities, allowing you to present yourself in the best light possible to the world.

​IMPACT10X AI Simulator – Daily Agenda (Monday – Thursday)

​Morning Briefing and Development Session

• ​9AM – 9:30AM – Morning Welcome and Networking
  Start your day with a warm welcome and an opportunity to connect with fellow participants. Reflect on your successes and challenges.
• ​9:30AM – 10:30AM – Development & Training Session
  IMPACT10X: 10 sector innovation value chain navigation and development session.
  Wednesdays: Engage with a visiting expert who will share insights and expertise related to the specific training module for the week.
• ​10:30AM – 11AM – Q&A and Discussion
  Participate in an interactive Q&A session allowing you to delve deeper into the week’s subject matter.

​Afternoon Session – Own Project Development Sessions

• ​1PM – 2:30PM – Project Workshop
  Apply the knowledge and insights gained during the morning session to your innovation project.
  Collaborate with your team and mentors to make tangible progress.
• ​2:30PM – 3PM – Break and Personal Reflection
  Take a moment to recharge, reflect and refocus before the afternoon session.
• ​3PM – 4PM – Project Development and Mentor Sessions
  Continue working on your project and engage in one-on-one or group mentorship sessions.
  Receive guidance, feedback and support to further refine your innovation project. Prepping for the final pitch battle at the Live Demo Day!

​Throughout the program, the daily agenda will align with the specific training module of the week, whether it’s deep-tech AI research, professional development, or personal brand development. Your time at the JCU Ideas Lab in Cairns Campus will be a hub of creativity, learning and collaboration, designed to accelerate your innovation journey. The IMPACT10X AI Simulator Internship will be wrapped up with a Live Demo Day where teams can showcase their projects/ventures with the possibility of investment leads and future job opportunities.
